The Most Dangerous Man In the World
Taking the mask off the real predator in the realm of men.
I was about fourteen or fifteen when I realized that my mother had raised some of the most dangerous men in the world. The thought came to me unbidden, almost forbidden. I watched as the men around men charmed and captivated women into lives that became hell, and I realized the truth with a sinking sensation. My mother had weaponized what should have been sacred, and turned it into a weapon for mass destruction.
What am I talking about? No, the men in my life weren’t profilic serial killers. You won’t find them in a Netflix documentary or a Ryan Murphy special (to my knowledge). I wasn’t birthed by Ted Bundy or any other monster like that. So why then, would I - could I - claim that my mother had raised the most dangerous men in the world?
It’s all a matter of time, and observation. Who is truly scarier? The monster you can see coming down the road? Or the one hiding around a corner? Which would you prefer? When you’re dealing with the most dangerous type of man in the world, it’s always a matter of looking around corners (and over your shoulder).
